Industrial FAQ

Questions Plant and Project Managers Ask

What kinds of industrial facilities do you work in?

Data centers, water and wastewater facilities, solar farms, manufacturing plants and warehouses, including areas that require explosion-proof equipment. We handle ground-up construction, expansions and ongoing maintenance.

Do you work as a sub for general contractors and EPCs?

Yes. Send plans and specs and we'll provide a written proposal with scope, inclusions and exclusions. Changes in scope go through written change orders before the work is done.

Can you work during planned shutdowns?

Yes. We plan outages and tie-ins with your operations team ahead of time. Work outside normal hours is billed at the after-hours rates on our Rate Sheet, and the schedule is set in writing.

Do you install PLC, SCADA and instrumentation?

Yes. We install and wire PLC hardware, HMI panels and process instrumentation, and set up SCADA systems. If your project needs controls programming, we'll make clear in the proposal whether it's in our scope or coordinated with your integrator.

Do you install explosion-proof equipment?

Yes. We install explosion-proof lighting and equipment in areas that require it, built to the area classification on your drawings or provided by your engineer.

Do you install and test industrial generators?

Yes. We wire and integrate standby generators and automatic transfer switches, and we offer load bank testing to verify the system under load. Generator proposals include a load calculation.

What about safety and insurance?

Our crews work in proper PPE, use lockout/tagout and follow your site's safety rules. We're licensed and insured, and we can send a certificate of insurance on request.

How do you price industrial work?

Service and maintenance rates are on our Rate Sheet. Projects are priced in a written proposal based on your plans, specs or a site walkthrough. The price that applies is the one in your signed proposal.

Where do you work?

We're based in El Campo and serve Wharton, Fort Bend, Jackson, Victoria, Matagorda, Lavaca and Colorado counties. For larger industrial projects beyond that area, call us to talk it through.
