What we install
EV Charging at Home
Most EVs come with a slow cord charger. A Level 2 charger on a dedicated 240-volt circuit is the upgrade most owners want.
Hardwired chargers
We mount and wire a hardwired charger you've bought, such as a Tesla Wall Connector.
Plug-in outlets
A 240-volt outlet for a plug-in charger, where your charger allows it.
Garage, carport or driveway
Indoor or outdoor installs, with the circuit run from your panel.
Panel capacity check
If your panel is full or too small, we'll show you your options, including a panel or service upgrade.
Before you buy a charger
What to Check First
- ✓Where you'll park and where the charger will mount
- ✓How far that spot is from your panel
- ✓Whether your panel has room for a 240-volt breaker
- ✓The charger's required circuit size (check its manual)
- ✓Whether you want hardwired or plug-in
- ✓Whether you might add a second EV later
Good to know
- A load calculation is included in every EV charger proposal.
- We set the charger's maximum current to match the circuit. Don't raise it afterward.
- We don't promise tax credits, rebates or utility incentives. Check your own eligibility.
- Vehicle-to-home backup needs special equipment and utility approval, and isn't included unless your proposal lists it.

Questions
EV Charger FAQ
Do I need a panel upgrade for an EV charger?
Not always. Our load calculation shows whether your panel can handle it. If not, we'll explain your options.
Can you install a Tesla Wall Connector?
Yes. We install hardwired chargers you supply, including Tesla Wall Connectors.
Hardwired or plug-in, which is better?
Hardwired is often recommended for higher-amp chargers. We'll go over what your charger's manual allows.
Are there rebates?
Some utilities and manufacturers offer them, but we don't promise any. Check with your utility and the charger maker.
Prices on our website are general information, not an offer.
