Getting it right the first time keeps your hookup on schedule. Meter loops on the house Meter base, riser, weatherhead and service wire, ready for the utility. Meter poles A meter pole with a main disconnect for a mobile home, shop, well or RV site. Meter base replacement Replace a rusted, damaged or undersized meter base. On most properties the meter loop or pole belongs to the owner, and the utility owns the meter and the lines to it. Check with your utility or co-op for your property. How long until the co-op sets my meter? That's on the utility or co-op's schedule, and we can't control it. We'll tell you when our part is ready so you can request the connection. Can you build a meter pole for a mobile home or RV? Yes. We build meter poles with a main disconnect for mobile homes, RV sites, wells and shops. Do I need a permit? It depends on where you are. Inside city limits a permit is usually required. We pull it where required and pass the fee through at cost.
